'Fit for a King' was broadcast on both BBC Radio 1 with Huw Stephens and BBC Radio 1Xtra with Jamz Supernova!


Tilly began writing material with German producer, Mattis, who she met on SoundCloud in 2015 and has been collaborating with ever since. Their 'across the globe' collaboration has impressed tastemakers everywhere, including Jamz Supernove who premiered the debut single 'Coins' on BBC Radio 1Xtra.

Collaborating is a big part of Tilly's journey, and has involved writing with DJ Fresh, Joe Kearns and Numen Studios. The BRIT School alumna later released a collaborative single with producer 'edbl' (Ed Black) and accumulated over 110,000 streams on their co-written love song, 'Table for Two’.


Tilly is currently gigging around the UK, having performed at venues including; Sofar Sounds, Notting Hill Arts Club, Half Moon Putney, The Borderline, Pizza Express Live,

110 Above festival and more. Following her BBC Introducing live lounge, Valentine took to the stage at the O2 Academy in Oxford for a third time, and recently headlined upstairs at the renowned Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club with her three piece backing band.

Alongside support from BBC Introducing Oxford and London, Valentine's singles 'Coins' and 'Fit for a King' were premiered on BBC Radio 1Xtra by Jamz Supernova, alongside 'Brick by Brick' being selected for The BBC Introducing Mixtape by Tom Robinson, and broadcast on BBC Radio 6 Music by Shaun Keaveny. Her latest single 'Fit for a King' was broadcast on BBC Radio 1 by Huw Stephens, as well as being added to BBC Introducing's 'The Hot List'.
